Description: The Mary Mitchell Family and Youth Center Inc will continue to provide after school and out of school activities for 150 youth ages 8 to 18. The activities will include tutoring, recreation, and computer skills training. During the school year the program will provide children between 8 and 13 with a supervised environment from 3pm to 6pm. Teen programs will be offered year-round from 6pm until 9pm. The program will report performance measures that include 1) the increased learning as measured by assignment completions and grade improvement 2) recreational achievement through performances and recitals 3) acquisition of technical skills through increased proficiency in elements of computer knowledge. Performance measures for the program include attendance, completion of assignments, and feedback by staff and participants.
