Description: This project is designed to develop and enhance collaborative efforts between the school and mental health services systems, so that children at the Asbury Park Middle School receive evidence-based prevention, early intervention and treatment services. The grantee will provide training, technical assistance and consultation to school, mental health and juvenile justice personnel who are providing direct services to youth and families in Asbury Park, NJ.The grantee will report on performance measures related to systems change and T&TA efforts. Relevant measures include: the number and content of MOUs developed between Asbury Park Middle School and local mental health agencies; the number of trainings conducted by the grantee for service providers; and the types of policies that are developed, changed and/or implemented as a result of this initiative.
