Description: Prevent Child Abuse America (PCA America) and the National Family Support Roundtable (Roundtable) successfully collaborated to launch Circle of Parents, a national organization dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect through parent self-help and mutual support group programs in October 2004. It is the intent of PCA America to support both as a fiscal agent and through its research department the capacity of Circle of Parents (formerly known as the National Family Support Roundtable) to strengthen existing and create new parent support programs through 24 statewide and 2 metropolitan member organizations. Various strategies to promote this growth and development are to be implemented and tailored to the specific needs of the communities served by each organization.
