Description: The Southwest Key La Esperanza Home for Boys will provide residential services for up to 46 males ages 10 to 17 who are convicted of offenses and are referred to the home by various Texas juvenile justice systems. The boys will go to the home once they have completed their minimum length of stay in a secure Texas Youth Commission facility. The home seeks to reform these boys through the Balanced and Restorative Justice Model, which includes counseling, educational, and recreational services so they can successfully return to society. La Esperanza Home will report performance measures including the number of youths being served, the progress these youths are making, and the types of services they are being offered.
