Description: The purpose of this program is to reduce the incidence and severity of fires ignited accidentally and intentionally by children. The National Association of State Fire Marshals (NASFM) will conduct a National Household Survey of Juvenile Firesetting and Fire Play and conduct a series of skill-building workshops to improve the effectiveness of the existing intervention teams in 35 states. The performance indicators the applicant will be reporting on will be the number of workshops conducted and the improved effectiveness of the intervention team.
