Description: The April Michelle West Foundation (AMWF) will implement the Therapeutic Behavior Intervention Program (TBI), a school-based alternative intervention program that targets students at-risk , ages 6-17. The goal of the program is to help the students develop their full potential as they identify and embrace their unique learning styles, personality, and personal academic/behavioral challenges by improving or eliminating debilitating behavior patterns. Interventions include providing family based advocacy, crisis management and mentoring. The TBI Program will report on performance measures that include the number of youth receiving intervention services evidenced by the development of behavior prescriptive plans and the number of youth and families receiving advocacy and mentoring.
