Description: The Boys and Girls Home of Nebraska will operate an after school education program that will serve middle and high school youth who have committed minor offenses and/or have unique mental, psychological and behavioral problems. The program will report on performance measures including: (1) the number of juveniles that successfully complete probation and their term in school; (2) the number of juveniles that improve school performance, learn pro-social and useful skills, and remain out of the juvenile justice system; (3) the number of Spanish-speaking children and families that become invested in their communities; and (4) the number of juveniles returning from out-of-home placements and successfully re-integrate into the community.
