Description: The Old King's Orchard Community Center will offer tutoring, mentoring, and recreational activities to Decatur, IL youth of ages 7-17, and monthly meetings for these children and their parents. Old King's goals are to improve school performance and to improve the child's situation at home by working with the parents as well. Old King will report on performance measures including improved academic achievement, lower rates of high school dropouts, and improved conditions at home shown by parent surveys and the observations of the program staff.
