Description: This FY05 OJJDP earmark award will help support the LaSalle County IL Child Advocacy Center (CAC). In addition to improvement of the center's facility, the project goals will include: 1) decrease the number of inaudible videotaped interviews of child victims, along with a decreased number of complaints from jurisdictional multidisciplinary investigative teams; 2) increase the number of juvenile and adult prosecutions due to increased quality of audible victim-sensitive interviews; and 3) improved cost-effectiveness of the program and service provision.
