Description: The Edgewater Systems for Balanced Livings No Workshops No Jumpshots program will provide assessment services, weekly workshops, sports activities (used as incentives for participating in the workshops) and employment services for 50 academically underperforming youths ages 13-18 from Gary, Indiana. Goals of the program include helping the participants succeed in school and give them life and job skills. Edgewater Systems will report on performance measures including improved academic performance, reduced suspension and drop-out rates, increased enrollment in college, and participant satisfaction.
