Description: The Big Sibling Mentoring Program will provide adult mentors for children in Chicago who are at risk for delinquency due to poverty and poor academic performance. The Program will also assess the children's' academic performance, and work with families to secure tutoring if necessary. The Program will report on such relevant performance measures as the number of children served, the percentage of children successfully matched with adult mentors, and the academic performance of participants.
