Description: Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters federal funding application for FY05 is to support the Pediatric Forensic Nurse Examiner Program. This program is affiliated with the Child Abuse Program at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. The Child Abuse Program provides forensic medical and mental health services to abused children from across Hampton Roads. The Pediatric Forensic Nurses conduct forensic exams and evidence collection in cases of sexual assault on young children. This is one of many medical services provided by the Child Abuse Program.
