Description: The Woodycrest Center for Human Development, Inc. will prepare at-risk youth aged 14-21 for the workforce through a twelve week workshop and ten week internship. The two-part program will provide these youth with employment skills training, job readiness training, career awareness, and education/employment counseling. The Woodycrest Center will ultimately increase sustainable youth employment, as well as encourage youth to pursue meaningful careers in their selected fields. The success of this program will be monitored by progress reports, attendance sheets, employer evaluations, employee portfolios and pre/post testing. Performance will be measured by all seventy-five participating youth demonstrating job readiness at the conclusion of the program.
