Description: The Gilbert Lindsay Recreation Center will operate a little league baseball organization for boys and girls of ages 4 to 14. The goals of the center are to improve the physical conditioning of the participating youth and give them a positive activity to do in their free time. Outcomes of the program are to improve the health and well-being of the youth through physical activity associated with playing baseball, learning baseball fundamentals, encouraging teamwork and positive character, and building a safer community among the participants, parents, volunteers, and sponsors through their shared commitment to support the program. The center will report performance measures including the number of children participating in the little league, participant and parent satisfaction, and improving the physical fitness of participants.
