Description: Nassau County Detectives Association is taking a three prong approach to combating gangs. They will educate the public (400 adults) through gang awareness seminars, fund trained investigators for gang investigations, and fund more uniformed police specifically to battle the gang problem. They will measure the success of these goals through arrest data and pre/post surveys. This program will submit Categorical Assistance Progress Reports to OJJDP.
