The Law Enforcement Component: In an effort to make the large, rural region more manageable, the district has been divided into three regions: Big Sandy, Cumberland, and Kentucky River. The Community Coalition and Education Component: The mission of the education and community coalition component of UNITE is to band communities together while reaching out to the youth of the region. The Treatment Component: The mission of the treatment component is simple, to reach out to those who are ready to obtain help with their addiction. Additional caseloads will be placed upon the courts with the agents from the law enforcement component and UNITE plans to have a mechanism in place to help handle the burden.
