Description: Public Private Venture's Juvenile Ready4Work (JR4W) program will implement a training and demonstration program targeting 6-7 sites around the country that deal with juvenile offenders returning to society, impacting more than 1,000 juveniles in a 3 year period. JR4W will provide site assessment and technical assistance, in addition to publishing materials for policymakers and other interested parties about their research and findings. Public Private Ventures will report on performance measures including the increased academic performance and employment opportunities of those juvenile offenders enrolled in programs where JR4W provides training, decreased rates of recidivism among juvenile participants, and the number of sites and juveniles served.
