Description: The purpose of this proposal is for National Forensic Technology Center (NFSTC) to provide the following support to the forensic community: (1) continue funding of previously initiated projects such as Technology Based Training (TBT) for newly hired Firearms Analysts and DNA Analysts, the DNA Validation Kit, and the Drug Field Testing Project (FIDO); (2) hold up to 6 different DNA Analysts Training Workshops offered up to 3 different times; (3) complete the Officers of the Court Training CD and conduct road show; (4) complete a DNA Training Needs Assessment; (5) provide DNA.gov content; (6) support 2 Missing Persons Regional Trainings; (7) continue the GPA Program; (8) support NIJ's Regional Cold Case Trainings and (9) support the Courtroom Use of Digital Evidence Project.
