Description: The Native American Rights Fund (NARF), in association with the Native Association of Indian Legal Services (NAILS), will supplement resources provided through the Legal Services Corporation to continue and expand the kinds of civil and criminal representation and assistance to tribal court systems currently conducted by Indian Legal Services programs, including representation on a wide range of civil and criminal matters before tribal courts; lay advocate, law enforcement training; assisting with the development of tribal bar associations; development of tribal, juvenile and peacemaking codes; and assistance to pro se litigants.
