Description: The Bitter Root RC and D Inc. will use the grant funds to enhance public safety on the Lewis & Clark Trail in parts of Montana and throughout Idaho during the key years of the Lewis & Clark Bicentennial commemoration. The public safety public safety enhancement efforts will: improve emergency medical responses; improve communication capacity and processes; increase access to trained, equipped search and rescue teams and well-equipped, trained, responsive law enforcement officials; and enhance additional miscellaneous, public safety processes.
