Description: The Pinellas County is proposing funding to provide a transitional housing subsidy of up to $1,000 for the clients who meet the program criteria, for a maximum of 100 clients. The program will pay the transitional housing vendor directly; the funds are not given to the client. This funding will pay for their first and last month's rent, any application fee, and initial utility deposits. Case managers will then assist the client with applications for government assistance, facilitate job placement and training, and if warranted continue counseling and case management services.
