Description: The Family Development Foundation (FDF) will deliver family support and intervention services to the targeted schools and Boy's and Girl's clubs. The program will provide education to students and parents on the risk factors associated with domestic violence and interventions to address the effects of domestic violence. The focus of the intervention programs is to provide parents and students who are victims or perpetrators of domestic violence how to regain self-esteem and other social factors associated with domestic violence. FDF will assist with other family problems that may demand immediate intervention such as food, clothing shelter and other social issues that are by products of domestic violence. Through one or more contracts for services, the FDF will provide training and technical assistance to Clark organizations that deliver direct counseling and treatment services to victims of domestic violence.
