Description: With the earmarked funds, RAINN proposes to: (1) Inform and educate the public about sexual assault. (2) Conduct outreach programs to reduce the incidence of sexual assault among high school students and the general public. (3) Recruit and train volunteers for the new National Sexual Assault Online Hotline. (4) Assist our 1,100 affiliated local rape crisis centers with information, education and outreach materials to make them more efficient and effective. (5) Create multi-language education materials to serve a broader audience. (6) Monitor and analyze state and federal public policy regarding sexual assault.
