Description: This project is to professionalize and enhance the practice of criminal intelligence with the Florida law enforcement/criminal justice community. It will demonstrate the benefits derived from the intelligence, and encourage information sharing in support of the intelligence. This goal will be achieved by enhancing existing infrastructure and programs in intelligence training programs at Pat Thomas Law Enforcement Academy (PTLEA) that will enable law enforcement and other criminal justice agency personnel engaged in the planning, collection, collation, analysis, and dissemination of information and criminal intelligence to meet National Criminal Intelligence Sharing Plan (NCISP) standards, and to ensure professional conduct and the capability to achieve a common understanding of intelligence-led policing.
