Description: The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) will award a 12-month cooperative agreement to the Council of State Governments (CSG) to conduct a variety of tasks associated with BJA's Law Enforcement and Mental Health Court Initiative. Specifically, CSG will design, print, and disseminate six publications it has developed for BJA; develop a standardized training curriculum for how law enforcement officers should respond to individuals with mental illness; and help BJA to establish and coordinate a network of mental health court learning sites.
