Description: The Drug Risk Solutions, LLC is conducting a study on the effectiveness of on-site hair follicle testing as a means of detecting substance abuse in drug court participants. The test is being conducted on drug court participants in eleven counties located in the Greater Capital/Adirondack Region in the 4th Judicial District. An independent university is being selected to design and implement a comparison study between urine analysis and hair follicle testing. A line item in the FY 2005 Congressional budget provides funding to Drug Risk Solutions for the On-Site Hair Testing Efficacy Project.
