Description: All citizens throughout the State of Colorado will directly benefit from the Digital Trunk Radio Project (DTR) through the ability of first responders to communicate in times of natural and man-made disasters in a timely manner. DTR provides financial advantages to all participants through the elimination of duplicated radio system purchases and maximizes the use of available radio spectrum. The funding from this grant will be used to purchase APCO Project 25 DTR radios for State of Colorado Public Safety Officers for use in the western portion of the State.
