Description: The Palm Beach County School District Police Department is committed to developing an efficient and effective means of training its school resource officers in the most effective manner. The equipment and software listed in the budget will enable the Palm Beach County School District Police Department to deliver training via local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) and the Internet in a way that will meet the high standards of the video/CD generation. The training components that can be delivered via the local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) or Internet to school resource officers throughout Palm Beach County, consists of 23 training topics including topics like: Gangs, First responder, Designer drugs, Firearms, Domestic violence, First aid/CPR, and Terrorism.
