Description: The Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), in partnership with Washington State Department of Corrections and the Washington State Patrol (WSP), will design and implement the Electronic Fingerprint Criminal Background Check Project which will provide the infrastructure necessary to establish the enrollment of all persons applying for jobs in education through a digital scan process where fingerprints can be captured and transmitted to a central location and/or interface with an Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) for identification processing.
