Description: National Center for Missing Adults (NCMA)/Nation's Missing Children Organization (NMCO) will provide advocacy services to the families of missing persons to include, but not limited to: crisis intervention and long term support; resource referral; criminal justice advocacy; and dissemination of case information that is vital to recovering the missing person and advancing the investigation. NCMA/NMCO in partnership with the Criminal Justice Center for Innovation at Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) has developed and is currently delivering training to law enforcement agencies regarding the issues and challenges related to complex missing adult cases, development of model policy, investigative response issues, and the promotion of advocacy within the law enforcement community. NCMA/NMCO will use earmark funds to continue the following activities: 1) expanding the delivery of training to law enforcement in cooperation with Fox Valley Technical College; 2) strengthening and expanding interagency coordination; 3) providing nationwide informational resources; 4) improving website and database capabilities; 5) identifying primary and secondary victims; 6) expanding support group services; and 7) program evaluation.
