Description: The overall goal of this project is to provide enhanced crime scene examination capabilities within the Alaska Bureau of Investigation (ABI,) the Alaska State Crime Detection Lab, and municipal agencies. Project outcomes include increasing the number of ABI investigators that are qualified as multi-discipline crime scene experts and forensic computer examination experts. The grant will also support training and skill development, and pay for equipment and supplies necessary for the investigator training and on-going crime scene examination capability and enhancement.
