Description: The University of Colorado at Denver and health Sciences Center has initiated the creation of a national and unique Center on Domestic Violence. The center will act as a national clearinghouse or "home base" through which work related to domestic violence can be gathered and focused and collaborations among educational institutions and national organizations can be fostered. The Center will respond to a nationally recognized need to educate and train individuals as leaders, advocates and managers to better understand the causes and consequences of and effective response strategies to domestic violence.
