Description: Effingham County Sheriff Department will hire a Deputy Sheriff and a Property Crimes Detective. Firearms will be purchased and two vehicles, which will be outfitted with required equipment such as emergency lighting, protective cage and radios. Laptop computers will also be purchased to be used by investigation and support personnel along with a Mobile Data Terminal, which will allow narcotics investigators quicker access to FBI and warrant information.
