Description: The County of Forest is developing a Centralized Court System and providing enhanced security to better accommodate future processing. They are providing public defender representation to inmates within the prison facility because they are entitled to legal representation. They are funding a part-time district attorney and a full-time secretary to work their increase in workload. They are also partially funding an office manager and two part-time deputies at the Forest County Sheriff's Office; and an office manager and part-time clerical staff for the Centralized Court System. Forest County is also funding overtime hours for the Chief Probation Officer. A line item in the FY 2005 Congressional budget provides funding to the Forest County Centralized Court System Project.
