The Foundation is covering 50% of the costs municipalities are incurring to conduct fingerprint checks. They are also encouraging as many sports leagues as possible to require fingerprint background checks on employees to ensure that there are no convicted sex offenders coaching children. The Megan Nicole Kanka Foundation is raising the awareness of the risk that pedophiles pose to children in communities around the State of New Jersey.
