Description: The Family ReEntry Inc. is implementing a comprehensive non-residential Community Reentry Pilot Program in Bridgeport. They are assisting adult males who are recently released from prison by providing services in the community that address their needs. They are providing valid and reliable client assessments resulting in reentry plans tailored to the specific needs, risk, and response factors of each client. The Family ReEntry Inc. is helping offenders successfully reintegrate into their communities and reduce the likelihood that they will re-offend and return to prison. They are creating a successful replicable reentry program model. A line item in the FY 2005 Congressional budget provides funding to Family ReEntry Inc. for the Community Reentry Pilot Program in Bridgeport.
