Description: Union County has completed construction of a new forensic laboratory. The laboratory will facilitate DNA analysis, one of the most important tools law enforcement has to solve crimes. This grant will allow Union County to install a fully operational DNA Forensic Laboratory, staffed by fully certified Crime Lab Directors by purchasing an ABI Genetic Analyzer and training of the laboratory personnel.
