Description: The Stargazer Foundation has developed an internet-based suite of law enforcement, public safety services and community management tools that provide emergency planning, reference, communications, and information to families, schools, businesses, communities, local law enforcement, and other public safety officials. This award supports training and technical assistance on using the Stargazer portal to emergency services agencies in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. The Stargazer portal will improve interagency and intergovernmental information sharing during major emergency situations. It also will promote increased communication and coordination among emergency services agencies regarding policies, events, equipment, and services.
