Description: The Leon Mathieu Senior Center, along with its key partners, will develop and implement the HOME ALONE program. The goal of this project is to target older adults living in the community who do not reside in congregate housing and provide them with access to information about resources, programs, and services available on local, state, and federal levels. By identifying those older adults who are at risk in the community and providing prevention and intervention services in the home, the HOME ALONE project will help elders maintain themselves in the community for as long as possible.
