Description: The San Pedro Partnership, formed in 1998, is a consortium of Federal, State and local agencies and other jurisdictional entities to coordinate and cooperate in the identification, prioritization, and implementtion of comprehensive policies and projects to assist in meeting water needs in the Sierra Vista Sub-basin of the Upper San Pedro River Basin in Arizona. These funds are not a Pass-Thru, but the San Pedro Partnership Business Committee determines how the funds will be spent, and the BLM completes contracts accordingly. The majority of the funds have gone to the City of Sierra Vista, USGS, and USDA, Agricultural Research Service.
