Description: The parachute canopy releases allow the pilot to connect to the parachute in the ACES II ejection seat during flight and to release from the parachute upon landing. In the event of an ejection, the parachute canopy releases allow the pilot to release the parachute canopy once on the ground or in the water with a maximum of 15 pounds of opening force applied to the levers of the parachute canopy releases.
