Description: A study aimed at educating and preparing health care personnel and their organizations, both civilian and military, for response to a bioterrorist attack. According to the investigators, current educational strategies fall short of what is truly needed for providers to be able to respond appropriately and quickly, and in coordinated fashion, to bioterror events. In order to meet this shortcoming, the effort proposes to develop and disseminate continuing medical education (CME) programs and materials on established and emerging infectious agents and other biological threats.
