Description: The purpose is to enhance the current PING system to improve the likelihood of correctly identifying concealed weapons behind visible obstructions. System performance improvement is viewed in two metrics: (1) increased probability of detection and (2) like signature separation. Other enhancements are to increase the range of detection and faster algorithm processing. Further improvement would be to detect while on the move.
