Advanced Army Modular Composite Bridge

Description: Advanced Army Modular Composite Bridge: Purpose is to advance military bridging performance to meet the needs of the Future force through the use of advanced composite materials. This effort will build on previous congressional adds to develop a full scale, multi-component composite military bridge demonstrator, which will be tested in the field and through simulation. The goal is to improve load carrying capability and survivability while reducing overall weight. Bridge has to be able to be carried and operated by the lighter FF vehicles.
