Description: The research effort is essentially three major goals with the major effort residing in the establishment of a large-scale radiographic image database derived from an active clinical mammographic library. The project foresees that such a database will serve as a tool for the testing and standardization of existing and emerging computer assisted diagnostic (CADx) systems as well as the development of a new tool.
