Description: The primary objective of the Telemedicine Event Link Evaluating Basic Attitudes by Your Doctor of Care (TELE-BABYDOC) proposal is to determine attitudes and satisfaction about a telemedicine program utilizing a telephonic stethoscope and videoconferencing unit for remote neonatal assessment; and attitudes concerning telemedicine versus telephone consultations. Outcomes collected via survey include satisfaction with and quality of the consultation by neonatalogist and referring provider. The primary objective of the Congestive Heart Failure-Care and Research Effort (CHF-CARE) proposal is to determine the effectiveness of a 60-day home telemedicine intervention versus usual care of CHF knowledge and behaviors. Endpoints will be subject knowledge, behaviors, satisfaction, and days between unplanned emergency department visits and hospitalizations.
