Description: In order to locate, monitor, and assess the physiological status of troops anywhere within the system coverage area at any time, a communication system that integrates new sensor technologies for real-time troop status monitoring with an imaging system for improving remote injury assessment into a common wireless network is critical. Such a system would facilitate remote triage, improved casualty status assessment, more efficient troop location, identification, and other benefits.
