1 recipient will receive $957,000. This is a continuing earmark.
Year Enacted: 2005
Description: The focus of this study is to optimize the use of medical simulation in the 91W Combat Medic training program and measure the effectiveness of these interventions in terms of Combat Readiness through objectively meeting the educational goals and objectives as they apply to medical simulation. The specific areas for intervention are derived from the detailed needs analysis already performed. It is hypothesized that implementation of validated and quantifiable Medical Simulation Learning Systems deployed through an integrated Simulation Information Management System can lead to a vast, measurable improvement of the 91W Combat Medic medical simulation program.
