Description: This proposal addresses the work required to develop a Non-Invasive Medical Sensor (NIMS). NIMS is a wearable sensor system that digitally captures, records, and analyses lung and heart sounds, and respiration and heart rate, to support physiological status monitoring and assist combat medics. By downloading the recorded data and extracted critical measures to the BMIST, it will aid in the assessment of battlefield casualties.
