Description: The primary mission is a collaboration between WRAMC, Windber Medical Center (WMC)/Windber Research Institute (WRI) to identify patients at cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk as early as possible and to educate, implement and study lifestyle changes added to ``best`` medical practices that promote cardiovascular health. The researchers plan to combine their unique model of clinical care with cutting edge molecular techniques to link causative genes and biomarkers to CVD and develop personalized comprehensive preventive and screening strategies.
